What food processor should I buy?

April 5th, 2011

I’ planning to buy a food processor , but don’t want to waste my money on something that wont last like the as seen on TV adds where they seem to work great at first and then fall apart according to the reviews I’ve seen.
I’m planning to spend no more than 60.00, the processor needs to be powerful, sturdy and have at least a 6 cup capacity.
Any suggestions?

a less-than $60.00 food processor is generally considered on the cheap end… good ones are up in the hundreds

of the few choices there are at that price point, Hamilton Beach makes a variety of fairly reasonably priced products that are fairly reliable… had one of their blenders for ages and still working, and my relatives have one of their food processors thats working well.
